7 step guide to make a pinhole camera
step 1 - collect your materials
You will need a box, thin piece of metal, photo paper, tape, knife and a needle
step 2 - poke a hole
Poke a small hole in the brass shim with a needle and cut the shim so there is a tiny space around the hole.
step 3 - make a camera hole
The box needs to be light proof. Make sure there are no holes or in the box and then seal it and paint it black. You then Cut a small square opening in the box for the pinhole to go in.
step 4 - make shutter
Tape the pinhole behind the square opening and then center the pinhole in the square. Then make the shutter cover the pinhole from the outside. It can be made from some more tape.
step 5 - photo paper
This must be done in full darkness. Tape a piece of photo paper to the inside of the box across from the hole. Put the lid securely on and make sure the shutter is closed.
step 6 - take the photo
Point the camera in direction to what you are shooting. Everything has to stay absolutely still and it works best when bright then Go back to the dark room and take paper out to develop.
step 7 -developing

The paper from the box will be a negative to make the positive you have to put another piece of photo paper under the developed negative facing each other but the negative must be on the top. Use a piece of glass to press them together and turn the lights on for a few seconds. Now develop the positive.
